Preparation for Sale

A decision to disinvest is often triggered by impending structural refurbishment, renovation or conversion. Every conscientious property investor property investor has to address the issues relating to his aging property.

If the investor no longer wishes to invest in maintenance and improvements himself, he must at least consider whether he should undertake the repairs and possibly the renovation himself at his own expense to ensure that he is able to market and sell the property.

The actual condition of the property is an important factor in making such a decision.
